Losing Illusions

“Something can only become an illusion after disillusionment. Before that, it is something real.”
― Lynda Barry,
What It Is

We are not without our past….even as we place it in the grave and walk away…we feel our echoes…..

Becoming …at the depth we dig ourselves into……and that which emerges from it… is a quality of unity…that resonates ……which changes our perception of identity…revealing a deeper sense of life within….….and that which we had ignored by separation from it….

One sometimes weeps over one’s illusions with as much bitterness as over a death.

Coming back to life…and living it….is the consequence of illusions becoming reality….

One must begin at the losing…..

“Memories are the grandest illusion of all.”
