“And in fact the only way I can deal with this eerie situation at all is to make a conscious decision that I have already lived and finished the life I planned to live – and everything from now on will be A New Life, a different thing, a gig that ends tonight and starts tomorrow morning.”
― Hunter S. Thompson, The Great Shark Hunt: Strange Tales from a Strange Time
New has no compass…yet we can “feel” the finished line we just crossed….
when we step from the timeline that awakened us….the pages in the book we carried are dogeared and torn and stained with tears….there are no stories left on the pages..we have worn them completely away…there are no stair steps within them..that anyone else can traverse..and get anywhere with….
we know nothing here…in the gloaming…and that’s a fine place to be in this condition…
*traversing this path through all these planet bodies dancing in all directions….picking their partners and placements exactly on time….has been difficult at best….a horrible relief…. indeed……
the feathers are still dryin… *

“Since when,” he asked,
“Are the first line and last line of any poem…
where the poem begins and ends?”
― Seamus Heaney
