“If I am going to be drowned—if I am going to be drowned—if I am going to be drowned, why, in the name of the seven mad gods who rule the sea, was I allowed to come thus far and contemplate sand and trees?” ― Stephen Crane, The Open Boat and Other Stories
“Remember Jesus of Nazareth, staggering on broken feet out of the tomb toward the Resurrection, bearing on his body the proud insignia of the defeat which is victory, the magnificent defeat of the human soul at the hands of God.” ― Frederick Buechner, The Magnificent Defeat
Looking at the pictures of once bustling roadways, now so empty….the feeling becomes too real…this is where the illusion of life once lived…
The isolation from human touch..human hugs…even a handshake…makes us a bit colder in the skin…makes us suspicious of what lurks behind each mask…
Want to know if you are standing near a COVID Being? They got an app for that….
Ever wonder how our entire life ended up on a cell phone….
Choices carry vibrations….
I put the Bible on my phone….yes….there is an app for God too….
In this stillness of the WORLD…..soul is strengthened…in faith..
Through the rubble and silent chaos of endings… I discover more depth of this process of renewal…
“Perhaps [the critics are right and] the drama is played out now and Jesus is safely dead and buried. Perhaps. It is ironical and entertaining to consider that at least once in the world’s history those words might have been said with complete conviction, and that was on the eve of the Resurrection.” ― Dorothy L. Sayers
In whatever transformation you want….you must learn to see it… while living alive each moment carefully and comfortably awake…..
Allow God to align you at all moments…and one will be aligned to goodness and peace……….let this be a new PERMANENT way of Being….without the limitations ….…risk being vulnerable to your imagining….through spiritual sight… for the revealing of your transformations in all ways…with the awareness of the mystery of Christ working through you…
“We shine like those fires and those stars; we sigh like those waves; we suffer like those great ships, which are worn out in ploughing the waves, in obeying the wind which urges them towards an end, as the breath of God blows us towards a port. Everything likes to live, Raoul; and everything is beautiful in living things.” ― Alexandre Dumas, The Man in the Iron Mask
Not all choices in the Light…are easy…..
Yet when one lets go of steering the energy, aka: anger, fear, expectation…
the weight of choice is lifted and guidance takes over, with less bruisinginvolved
If life throws you a bad vibration..do not let that interrupt the song…
Do not let that define your story…
If life were easy..it wouldn’t be hard….
We are all on an odyssey through the extremes….
“Went up on the mountain,
To see what I could see,
The whole world was fallin’,
Right down in front of me.” Allman Brothers..Dreams I’ll Never See
God fills our hearts and captures our minds with His Light…
As we lean into this Light…..and wander with it…. we serve His Light…fear cannot hide within us…
We must have a change of mind and heart, we must become determined to embrace this about ourselves…collectively….to win the battle with an opponent we cannot even see.
The talk is now “months”….“weeks” is yesterdays’ word….a pattern of conditioning is being produced, ever so carefully
Being conscious of the self, the mind of self…. the ability to see far away..up close…and feeling the response before we create it….one can recognize the Light …..indeed….we are placed a step ahead of the quicksand.
Be fully alive in the heart…in the spirit…in the body…and yes..even in the dark…For wherever one is truly alive…there is Light…
“Today we fight. Tomorrow we fight. The day after, we fight. And if this disease plans on whipping us, it better bring a lunch, ’cause it’s gonna have a long day doing it.” ― Jim Beaver, Life’s That Way
“I don’t know what happened. Disease? War? Social collapse? Or was it just us? The Dead replacing the Living? I guess it’s not so important. Once you’ve arrived at the end of the world, it hardly matters which route you took.” ― Isaac Marion, Warm Bodies
The artifacts that was one’s life…mere weeks ago… seem like scraps of an ancient civilization… one is completely removed from… now…
there is no memory of the minute before the Earth stood still…… the shock is too deep to be loud about it… it’s a numbing type of consciousness…….while grief is shared from 6 feet away now…
This virus will leave us entirely newborn people…..
We will all be different; none of us will ever be the same again.
We will have deeper roots, be made of denser soil, and our eyes will have seen things.
“Hope…which is whispered from Pandora’s box only after all the other plagues and sorrows had escaped, is the best and last of all things. Without it, there is only time. And time pushes at our backs like a centrifuge, forcing us outward and away, until it nudges us into oblivion.” ― Ian Caldwell, The Rule of Four
“When those who lived through the epidemic tried to describe it, they talked about the sudden eerie quiet.” ― Jeanette Keith, Fever Season:
