“There’s truths you have to grow into.” ― H.G. Wells
even thorns bloom…..
While addressing that which is going on within …..for that’s all that is truly going on….be mellow with that which you place focus on….be gentle dear traveler….when finding freedom from what could have been…
No words or movements needed or required……are ever hurried….
“Love is holy because it is like grace–the worthiness of its object is never really what matters.” ― Marilynne Robinson, Gilead
“All forms of becoming require spaciousness in one way or another; mental space that allows the mind to expand, emotional space for feeling to flower, and physical space in which to move.” ― Dana Hutton, The Art of Becoming
One speaks Self into Its own position each moment…
creating a flow…..conscious or otherwise…
The moment manifests as such…..and must have a response…
Catch a glimpse of a shooting star…thousands of years can be seen in an instant….
The length of “time” it takes one to recognize this art of freedom……is the time for the blooming….
Spacious: To bring a balance to observing responses
Where the answer is.. unknown….
Leaves room for “maybe”…..
Silence is like a cradle holding our endeavors and our will; a silent spaciousness sustains us in our work and at the same time connects us to larger worlds that, in the busyness of our daily struggle to achieve, we have not yet investigated. Silence is the soul’s break for freedom. David Whyte
“The time we need in order to heal our wounds and finally manifest our deepest dreams is only as long as the gap between two thoughts. These are thoughts in polarity, such as separation and unity, conflict and peace, misery and joy, hate and love, etc. Since as human beings we are all capable of experiencing both thoughts, the only skill we need to develop involves mastering the GAP.” ― Franco Santoro
The gaps in our life is where, no matter how ugly …we stand there…. we feel our Self there…and look…we take no steps…even though…..the instinct is to pull out of that moment and hurry on to something new….desperate to occupy something we will win at…..or at least bluff our way there…
It is in the gap..we can recognize the quality of our interpretations…..it is where we are born again…
Do not rush to fill in these gaps… there is beauty within the gap of silence….. and acceptance within the gap of good-bye….
Someone said, bridges appear, when we move from the gap..
I believe..its in the gap..that we build those bridges….
“You become excellent when you fly at a level that creates a wide gap between where you were before and where you are now. Fly like the eagle; the eagle flies as if it never remembered it was once an egg!” ― Israelmore Ayivor, The Great Hand Book of Quotes
“….This is what sages, leaders, scientists, thinkers, and the brave souls of the past have done. They shifted and molded consciousness, actively transforming societies. They followed the impulse. They listened to the request to dialogue with the future. They consciously or unconsciously accepted their roles as midwives for the new….” ― Shahar Rabi
Deepened quietude expands with this bridging we are traversing
It is here…. the awareness of this eternal Shifting of the Soul…catches our breath..and our senses…
For in this stillness… we are privileged to witness the grand illusion…. dissolving…..
“And the people stayed home.
And read books, and listened, and rested, and exercised, and made art, and played games, and learned new ways of being, and were still.
And listened more deeply.
Some meditated, some prayed, some danced. Some met their shadows. And the people began to think differently. And the people healed.
And, in the absence of people living in ignorant, dangerous, mindless, and heartless ways, the earth began to heal. And when the danger passed, and the people joined together again, they grieved their losses, and made new choices, and dreamed new images, and created new ways to live and heal the earth fully, as they had been healed.”……
Kitty O’Meara …And The People Stayed Home
*This is her poem about growth in times of despair, and intense despair as something that forces us to realize and hopefully fix the more latent despairs inside us and create new worlds from it.*
